The First Palitos
The first body of work, photographed the day after a driftwood harvest on the Tuscan coast. Coral-red serpents, black-and-white chain-patterned snakes, a long serpent covered in a fine black grid with a carved head, and a single turquoise piece. The bends of each branch set the movement of the body.
